Now this is such a special project. Using the Crafters Companion Build a Block system you can easily create this beautiful little lap quilt. You could expand this of course to a larger design. It will give you the confidence to get that box out and use the dies!
 
The pattern takes you step by step through the making of the quilt, it has full diagrams and a coloured chart to help you identify the fabrics you will need. It is indeed a lovely make, and a recent workshop making this exact quilt was very succesful indeed for the attendees.
